Walk along the Furtbach
Daily into nature, across fields and meadows
Behind the daycare center, the idyllic surroundings of the Furtbach stream offer children a perfect place to explore and play. On the gentle field paths that lead along the stream, the little ones can safely walk, run and discover their surroundings. The generous shaded areas under the trees ensure that they are protected even on sunny days and that the heat does not become too intense. In addition, several barbecue areas along the paths invite you to have a cozy picnic. Here, the children can enjoy their afternoon snack in nature or let off steam playing tag and other games without the proximity to roads posing a risk.
An ideal place for carefree children's days outdoors! In this natural and protected environment, children can let their imagination run wild, have adventures and make precious memories. It is a place where laughter and joy are in the air, a piece of paradise that awakens children's curiosity and stimulates the senses.
Forest days
From the second year of operation we offer forest days:
Forest days
From May to September, all children aged 2 and over regularly go into the forest for whole days. We take our lunch with us and have a barbecue in the forest. We have created our own forest concept for this. We were already able to implement this forest concept in Zurich and had great success and a lot of fun with it.
Our advantage is the location of the daycare center - we are located directly below the forest. With a long walk we can easily reach the forest on foot. We can also get to the edge of the forest very quickly using public transport.
In the summer, we build dams with stones and wood at the stream, bathe our feet and throw stones into the water. These activities not only promote the children's motor skills, but also allow them to experience the wonders of nature up close. The forest days are a highlight that stimulates the imagination and surprises the children again and again with new adventures.
Trip to the lake or farm
We regularly visit local lakes and rivers to watch and feed ducks. The children love standing on the banks and watching the animals glide gracefully across the water. These trips are not only educational but also a wonderful experience for the senses.
Farms are also popular with our little explorers because they can experience various animals up close. The Furttal offers numerous such destinations that are suitable for both day trips and half-day excursions without creating major logistical challenges.
Our staff previously worked in Zurich city center and are therefore very familiar with and trained in all safety standards for road traffic and public transport. The safety of your children is our top priority. You can rely on us to maintain the highest standards in terms of safety and care.
Trip to the zoo
A visit to the zoo is not only educational, but also an adventure where children can see exotic animals up close. They learn more about the different habitats of the animals and can expand their knowledge in a playful way. Such experiences not only promote an understanding of nature, but also social skills and a sense of community within the group.
Our experienced staff accompany the children throughout their visit to the zoo, ensuring a safe and exciting experience. We ensure that all activities meet educational goals while promoting fun and enjoyment for the children.
In addition to the nature-based activities around our daycare center and the zoo visits, we offer a diverse program that awakens children's curiosity and promotes their creative abilities. From crafts and painting to music and movement games, there is something for everyone to try out and have new experiences.
